ISO BRACE
Patent Pending
Purpose
The ISO BRACE is designed to assist able-bodied shooters to operate a pistol more effectively with one hand, not compensated for by physical weakness, but by creating isometric tension. As the shooter forcefully cants the pistol grip forwards and upwards, they create isometric tension against their wrist or forearm. This isometric tension facilitates the rigid control of the firearm.
This brace design is also very useful for military or police use so that the soldier or officer can fully control the weapon with one hand while directing or restraining individuals with their other hand. In addition, control of the weapon with one hand facilitates the use of a shield held in the other hand, providing ballistic protection and offensive capability at the same time.
Versions Available
for the Mongoose and 1.36:
1) Classic;
2) Low Profile; and
3) A Braceless Version fitted with a Pistol End Cap rather than a rail system and brace.
4) The ISO BRACE also has versions designed to fit on an AR15/M16 buffer tube (rather than the Mongoose or 1.36 rail systems).
ISO BRACE: Classic
For Mongoose and 1.36
Designed to optimize for rigid control of the firearm by creating isometric tension against the wrist or forearm
Low Profile Braces
For Mongoose and 1.36
Low-Profile Braces are designed to optimize the accessibility of the pistol grip while the brace is fully collapsed. The brace is shortened to allow for a quick, completely unobstructed grip where the brace is not yet extended, such as in a high-stress scenario. The rail system maintains the same range of motion and the brace is still fully retractable, while still allowing for rigid control of the firearm by creating isometric tension against the wrist or forearm.
Braceless w/o Flash Hider
For Mongoose and 1.36
For jurisdictions that don't allow Retractable Braces or Flash Hiders
ISO BRACE Versions Designed to Fit on an AR15/M16 Buffer Tube
The following pictures depict two iterations. One is a shortened version with minimum contact with the AR15/M16 buffer tube (ISO BRACE S). The other is a longer version, providing a greater surface area of contact with the buffer tube (ISO BRACE L).
